In this course students work with various traditional genres of Arabic print and broadcast media, as well as newer internet-based ones (blogs, vlogs, podcasts). In weekly thematic units and activities students work with authentic materials to develop linguistic tools, techniques, and strategies to comprehend and discuss regional and international current events as well as issues in politics, economics, society, and culture.
